All IH&G solid mahogany furniture is handcrafted in our own workshop by expert joiners. This differs from most other furniture stores who buy in mass produced items from large scale factories, often assembled by unskilled workers. For this reason IH&G are happy to tailor any of our furniture to fit your home.
For example; You really like one of our wardrobes but, unfortunately, it is a little too big for your room. No problem, we will be delighted to custom make it to a size that suits you.
On the other hand, you may have a picture, torn from a stylish interiors magazine, of your dream four poster bed. Having searched high and low you have been unable to find it in any shop. Well, your search is over. Just give us the picture, tell us the size you want, and we will recreate it for you at a very affordable price.
You may be a bit nervous about having furniture custom made. Don't be. Our staff are very experienced and only too happy to assist you. With no cost or obligation our workshop will produce detailed drawings of the item. These drawings can be altered as many times as necessary. We will also calculate the price of crafting this particular piece for you. You will be surprised at how affordable it is to have furniture custom made. We won't start any work on your behalf until you have approved both the drawing and the price. It couldn't be easier.
